P.A.C.T. (Passenger Advisory Committee on Transportation)

This public meeting is held for all ACCESS passengers and their families to get more information regarding ACCESS and other major projects that Kitsap Transit is working on.

This meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month at 2pm at the Charleston Base office, 200 S. Charleston Blvd., Bremerton, WA 98312.

Meetings of the Board of Commissioners

The representation on the Board of Commissioners covers the small cities and towns as well as the rural areas of Kitsap County. The Board of Commissioners meets once each month, on the third Tuesday, to consider the regular business of Kitsap Transit. At its meetings, the Board provides direction to the staff regarding fiscal policies and expenditures, service planning issues and future development, opportunities for obtaining federal grants, and any other business that requires their approval. The Board of Commissioners holds its public hearings during the regularly scheduled meetings, and accepts public comment on a variety of issues.

T.I.E.D. (Transportation Issues for the Elderly and Disabled)

This meeting is intended for the elderly and disabled support agencies in Kitsap County. Information is given on Kitsap Transit’s upcoming projects, funding information, and service updates with regard to Kitsap Transit ACCESS.
