Park-and-Ride Lots |

Kitsap Transit serves and operates a network of commuter park-and-ride lots throughout Kitsap County and encourages their use to reduce traffic congestion around ferry terminals and major employment sites. Service to Kitsap County's four Washington State Ferry terminals, Kitsap Transit Foot Ferry, PSNS, Bangor, Keyport and other employment sites is provided by regular routed bus service, and worker/driver buses or vanpools. If bus schedules don't meet your needs, we encourage you to meet carpools at the park-and-ride lots.
The park-and-ride lots listed below have been divided into tables by geographic area. Lots which are used in cooperation with churches have specific commuter use times which vary from church to church. Generally, commuter parking is allowed Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Most of the park-and-ride lots have lights and shelters for passengers waiting for buses; a few have telephones and other user amenities. Many of the lots have specific rules posted as to allowed use and maximum time limits. At all public park-and-ride lots where there are spaces reserved for "Registered Rideshare Vehicles" (carpools and vanpools), vehicles parked in these spaces must have a valid permit clearly displayed and have at least two licensed people in the vehicle at the time the vehicle is parked. There are no exceptions. (Note: at some employer lots that are participating in Kitsap Transit's Smart Commuter program, the employer may allow their carpoolers to park in carpool spaces when they are driving alone. This policy is not allowed at public park-and-ride lots. All the lots listed below are public park-and-ride lots.)
